comments"Oooooh, nice!!!" I said aloud when I clicked onto this lovely, warming, inspiring image.
What a delight to see it, it carries a complex yet very comprehensive message to me -- open up and move around that higher Heart energy, engage with the emotions, yours and others', and expand with joy.
Your writings reflect that as well, to me.
Thank you for a lovely, inspiring injection of expansiveness into my mind-and-heart-via-eyes.

commentsHi Mary,
The Healing Heart is powerful---it looks like that heart is being birthed out of a person. And at the other end the person sees the rainbow and light. And the heart is so big! Open, open, open it makes me think and the rainbow is always there. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love,
Amy

commentsAt first viewing I was reminded of Hindu and Buddhist mandalas as the image both insistent driving movement and the stillness of contemplation. That was good.
Then I read your meditation on the piece and it was just so pertinent to my life and challenges just now. How reassuring, how inspiring, how comforting. Thank you, Mary!

commentsHi Mary,
You're right I do love the colors and the uplifting message of Flower Fandango. The message is freeing---going with the wind---you can change your mind---that is a nice thought.
Thanks!

commentsOh those kitties, always moving on you just when you get the best perspective, best angle, or just get comfortable with the newspaper or a book. I enjoyed your drawings of Bear Cat and Walleena very much! I also liked the writings that came from them, much wisdom on art there! Part of art is capturing a visual moment in time, but an even bigger part, in my opinion anyway, is capturing the emotional feel. That's what draws you in to a painting or drawing and keeps your eye-emotion, feeling. You got it baby! I can feel the love for your kitties coming from the drawings...keep on drawing and studying!! You're doing GREAT!

Thanks for sharing "PLEASURE" and for sharing your written thoughts too. I like the saying that your writing reminded you of, "If it's good for you, it's good for the universe!"

commentsMary,
I just happened upon your "Doorway" and "Penetration" today... Yesterday I was talking to a friend about "doorways". Some people just have a knack for assisting people in opening doorways. Doing my Wisdom Painting and Art has opened lots of doorways for me. Now I need to do the "Penetration" part.
Side note: I was in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico taking Photography classes at Instituto de Allende around the same time you were in Oaxaca doing "Doorway" and "Penetration". I just looked up the exact dates: 3.20.95-3.31.95. Those are powerful weeks for me every year!

comments Hello , you're such a Radiant Wonderful Artist!
I particularly was moved by your star wizards and the welcoming Sunburst on your healing green path! I feel like we are sisters artistically and
spiritually; we have found the Goddess Rainbow connection; the collective Force of Renewal that needs to be channeled through
art, dance, music, politics, family parenting and higher consciousness to ameliorate the negative forces at large; your Work is sooooooooooooooooooooooo
Precious and it speaks to me; guess I'm also having a Rebirth and Discovery through action.
Bless you and all Your Divine Love which is permeating this site.
Thank You, Eternally, knowing and smiling,

commentsWhat a stunning painting. Beautiful composition, tender attention to detail. It is a gift to marvel in the joy of everyday objects.
Your painting teacher seems narrow minded and uninspired. Is it not a goal of the artist to offer a new view, an inspired interpretation? If you had painted a traditional still life, with the tea set in beige and brown, it might have been just another stagnant still life - an "accurate" portrayal, but devoid of your history and passion.
How tragic that Mr. Harden's stilted expectations blinded him to your bold creativity.
Keep it up!

commentsHi Mary,
Fran's painting and the writing is so beautiful and fresh. The color of grass, green is the color of the heart chakra too. Open heart, fresh heart, green healthy heart----that's what Fran's heart art brings to mind for me. I'm glad she sent it in!!

Hi Mary,
Ironically, the drawing that I did last night has a heart right in the center of
it. ;-) I'll show you monday, and you may add it to the heart gallery.
have a great weekend!

Hmnm, why the door there? Well, I think it's because of the curving shapes
drawing one in, plus that it's higher than the traditional door. So perhaps for
me it's that "road less traveled" thing and a desire to explore
outside the usual perameters.
It's one of those fascinating aspects of communcation that we can any of us
communicate with each other at all -- considering that we all see everything so
differently. Thank goodness we also have the scientific aspect of our minds so
we can agree on interpretation of things like traffic lights, brain surgery and
the orders from a menu...:)
Always a pleasure to see what's up each month in imagery.
Great work you are doing, Mary, touching many lives with beauty and
creativity.
Warm regards with Love & Light,
Pammy Jaye

commentsPastels are a medium that I have not done much work with, but I did a lesson with my young artists this month, and
pastels opened some doors for each of us. So, Mary, your pastel passageways are serendipitous for me. Thank you again for your inspirations and exhalations...

commentsHi Mary,
What an inspiring image and the writing looking back at what has transpired in your life for the past 5 years is so interesting.
It is a very hard thing to travel our own paths. You give me energy to follow mine. Psychic readings and our guts also can tell us scary things. This is a good reminder for me not to give into fear but walk through it.
Thanks giving so much.
Love,
Amy

commentsDearest Mary, Loved your artwork. Also your writing was a clearing of the throat charka. A clearing of the path of some sorts. Pioneering thru the maze of ~~~ The Path of Life~~~~
Some of us living in the NOW circular space such as this ~~~ We have chosen The Road Less Traveled. I have and feel you have also. Many do not see the gift of traveling such a path or road, however, there are many treasures on the path. You wrote you have learned lessons , thus the lessons you learned enabled you to be the person you are and then -- with a magical twist in the path YOU MARY became A Wonderful TEACHER. While crossing the paths pearls of wisdom you found. So you picked up the Key and unlocked your heart and placed another gift of life lessons to store within . Your Treasure Chest is glowing.
Love, Light In Christ Robin S. McKinney McNeely

commentsMary, despite the turmoil I expect you feel, the painting conjured up feelings of connectedness and peace. Blue, to me, was the prevalent color, a warm blue which is a "peace" color. and I saw a couple - a man and a woman - looking at each other and yet connected as if in one body. There was a sense of unexpectedness surrounded by calmness.
I hope you continue on your path toward fulfillment. And while you're walking along the path, don't forget to pick some daffodils along the way.
Date: 03/21/03 Name: Amy Sax Email: army.sox@verizon.net Image: Jazzy Jasmine notify: Yes
commentsHi Mary,
Your art process description for Jazzy Jasmine reminded me to follow my own inner guidance in my art & life. The drawing wanted some black and you didn't necessarily want to add that but did anyway. There is a reason for this inner guidance---it may not be apparent now or even soon but there is a reason.
Your igniting process gives me hope for some understanding in my life. Thank you for that.
Love,
Amy

commentsDear Mary, I have been wondering which of your artwork touched my soul so very much. Pure Heart appears to be the ONE. However, I feel it is because of knowing the effort you do for so many with a pure heart. All of your artwork is inspiring and the other artist also. I look so forward for other artwork inspired by you which gives many the Creative Spirit. Many Thanks and Blessings.

I just got back on the computer, looking at your picture, and noticed I had written my comments about your picture and our friendship to The Beautiful Tree image. However, that image is beautiful too, but I was trying to put some things in words about the two-by-two, shoe string friendship. Nonetheless, keep up the good work to both of you in your journey!

comments Mary, I was doubly touched by your self-portrait.
I am starting to paint again after many years of
stopping. I have never done a self-portrait but
your comments about it inspire me to try. I
wasn't even sure how to begin...I would have probably
used a photo.
I, too, lost my brother about the same time
as you did. He was a Leo and died a few weeks
before he turned 50, of cancer. I am sure
my eyes looked as sad as yours at that time. I
am more peaceful about it now..knowing he has
graduated ahead of me to the next world....he
was always "ahead of his time!"
Love and gratitude for this wonderful site!
I'll be back many many times.
Blessings to you,
Linda Schiller-Hanna lhanna@neo.rr.com

comments What a beautiful drawing! It says so much.
I love the way the rainbow colors are presented
and the gentle lion. It brings peace to me.
I have the pleasure of knowing Robin personally
and I knew she had many talents...this is one
I was not aware of! A true artist!
Congratulations on your journey within Robin,
and thanks for sharing it with us. You are an

commentsI am a long-time friend of Robin's. I have traveled many roads with her . Our shoestrings were tied together, and still are. I guess I must admit that I have never really understood the path she had taken without me, however, until today when I saw the drawing for the first time on the net I began to see things that I had known, but did not know how to express or what they were. I am a Christian and have always had gifts from God, and I wondered why He would choose someone like me to give the gifts to. Many trials and tribulations have come my way; my soul is weary now. I have been very ill and I need help in getting better. If anyone can help,
pleases contact me.

VERY MOVING--INSPIRING WORK OF ART. AS MY BIRTHDAY IS AUGUST 22, I'VE LOOKED
INTO THOSE NUMBERS. I HAVE ANGELIC MESSENGER CARDS BY MEREDITH YOUNG-SOWERS THAT

commentsRobin,
I feel ancient inspiration when I look at your detailed drawing completed at 2:22 am on 2/22/02. I wonder what might develop on 2/22/03?
I read your letter describing your experience with this mysterious and beautiful drawing. I related to the 2's and Sidney Omar and his book that includes information on the Master Number 22.
Sidney Omar's astrology column is syndicated in many newspapers. He died recently and a woman friend continues to write his column. That woman wrote with him up until his death because he became blind at a later date in life.
Thanks for sharing your drawing, poem and thoughts.
Mary Gravelle, thanks for posting Robin's art and for supporting her efforts.

The Beautiful Bountiful fruit tree is really beautiful. It looks like a winter time tree with bare branches and no leaves -- but is bearing so many colorful fruits despite the winter.
