 Come In Continued from Wisdom Art Inspirational Images I completed this drawing on September 18, Day 7 of my personal Igniting session. I was working on an intention to embrace my positive shadow. From my writing: "I am totally exhausted. Busy week. A week ago, September 11 was THE disaster and the disaster -- terrorists hit NYC and the Pentagon. (a personal disaster hit the same day and it was a week of many accomplishments) ... I feel drained; body aches. It is time to replenish myself. I sit on the deck in my comfy chaise lounge reading, writing, and doing oracles (and my daily Igniting session)". I drew the TRUST rune. "I trust that my message touches the right people. I trust that this work pays my living and provides me a prosperous and abundant life. I trust that God's will is being manifested through my works." Then I drew the BAT Animal Medicine Card. Bat symbolizes REBIRTH. To be reborn you must be willing to die the Shaman's death and let go of the old; old beliefs, patterns, and ways of life that do not support your growth. The universe always asks us to grow and become our future. "My future awaits. It is time for me to stand up and be counted, a time to stand up to my work in the world. Well, this is certainly a sobering message. Serious stuff." Then I did the drawing. From my writing: "Powerful image. Come In. Yellow paper, crayons -- yellow sun, orange, red-orange, red sunrays. A sunny tunnel invites me to come in -- the light at the beginning of the tunnel. The lighted path, brown curvy path leading to the door through green grassy pastures. This drawing seems to relate to the Rune and Medicine Card this morning -- TRUST and the Bat, REBIRTH. It is time to step into my light and shine". Become my future.
