Hi, I am Mary Gravelle, personal coach, creativity guide, ally, and co-conspirator to your dreams. I am living many aspects to the life of my dreams and I can show you how to live your dream life too.
Life is a process. My life continues to evolve into a beautiful work of art created by me. Right now, my work of art looks pretty good, even though it could use a few strokes of color here and there. For the most part, I am happily fulfilling my dreams. Life is like a house or the highways in Connecticut -- always under construction! That is just the way it is. And it is the way in my life. And I am guessing it is that way with your life too.
Many times during our life, we need to consult with an outside contractor, an expert, someone who has been working in the trenches in the part of life that we seek to know more about. I have been in the trenches. I have dug myself out. Now and then, I find myself back in the trench and have to climb my way back out. Like I said, life is a process and always under construction. Just when you think you have finished, one other part of the house needs fixing -- again! People are no different than houses or roads. Sometimes, it is time to go back in and see what needs a little maintenance and extra tender loving care. It takes time and lots of intentional attention to make our life (and our homes) our own.
The work of art that is your life, changes all the time, sometimes you think it looks pretty good. Then you try something and oh, no, you think it is ruined, only to push through the wall and something new emerges, sending new energy surging through you. The piece of art sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it works only in the beginning and at the final stage. The middle stage becomes messy and ambiguous. And you ask yourself and the work of art, where are we going with this? This is a brave question. For not to ask the question is to stay where you are, to not finish the piece of art, to not grow, not become the work of art which is your life that is emerging through your potential.
I will listen, non-judgmentally. I will hold your dream safely in my heart and help you do the same for yourself. I will support your endeavor, whatever that may be for you right now.
People call me the Energizer Bunny and the Little Engine That Could. I call myself the White Tornado. I pack a lot of power behind my quiet demeanor. Make no mistake, I am a powerhouse capable of doing anything I put myself into. I am also capable of holding a huge and very sacred space for you, one in which I am very familiar because I hold that sacred safe container for myself as well.
My teaching and coaching style is very much about being the model for you. I walk my talk. I expect you to do the same. Do you want to be more authentic, more truthful? Then be it. I will help you. Do you want to be more truly yourself? Of course you do. This is not what we have been groomed to do. It is a foreign concept in our culture. Forget all that. Begin now to be who you truly are, defying all the odds against it. Just show up, do the best you can do, be true, reach out for guidance, and the rest will fall into place. I truly believe we were not meant to do this all alone. We live in community. We all seek community. And yet, we hold back in fear -- every fear imaginable holds us back. It takes a village. Reach out.
I am an artist. I absolutely treasure the creativity inside us all. We all have the inner creative power to create our world. I have practiced my own art, creativity, and spirituality over the last 15 years. I have learned much about creating a life of my own design from all of this seeking and all of the practice and all of the living that I have done in my fifty years of inhabiting this planet. I have had many adventures. From those adventures, I have gleaned some useful tools and exercises that I will incorporate into our coaching sessions. You will be asked to carry them out and held accountable, only if they resonate and make sense to you.
Because of the creative bent in the coaching sessions, they are best suited for people with open minds who want to unlock their innate creativity and source of power for making all things happen. All people have a wellspring of creativity just waiting to be dipped into. Tapping into your creativity can help you in all aspects of your life; truly helping you create a life by your own design.
