RAINBOW EARTH
This was our first mother/daughter artistic collaboration and
our individual creative ideas merged for the Global Art
Project.
We chose watercolor paper and from there slowly proceeded,
not knowing what would evolve. I was inspired to use the rainbow
colors of the chakras. Hearts usually find their way into my
artwork, too.
We decided to fill our Earth with hearts, then paint the
rainbow colors inside the hearts. Color and thoughts are
energies we can use to heal ourselves and the Earth. Monika and
I filled our Rainbow Earth with thoughts of love, hope,
compassion, unity and our wish for peace worldwide.
We drew a gold edge around our Earth to seal in our thoughts.
We placed a healing white light around our Earth to protect it.
Next, words and lettering were added above our Earth. Our final
touch was gluing on assorted rhinestone stars... little
glittering colors of hope, floating in the universe ! ---Lyn
It was a great experience working together and forming a
beautiful piece of artwork. It truly expressed the way we both
feel about peace and harmony in the world. We had a great time
and I look forward to working together on more artistic
projects! ---Monika
