Title:
Life
Artist:
by Eleana
Pellegrino
Size/Medium:
48" x 60", Oil
About this Painting:
I met Eleana and her friend, John, at 1st Saturday in
Kingston, New York in August, 2005. I was so inspired by their
collaborative work that I invited them to show their work here.
Below is John's poetry that was written for Eleana's painting.
Before
Sleep
By:
John Sipowicz
Last whisper rolls by
melting me upon pillow
footsteps I know come
mouthing some light bass rhyme
watching the pale light
withdraw through half drunk eyelids
and the sweet music of a crickets
overture licking my near ear.
