About Invocation:

The yellow and peach figure on the right is Winged Goddess, a modern day Goddess designed by the artist. The purple figure, which is being infused into Winged Goddess, is painted after a famous sculpture called Winged Victory. In the background is the Goddess, Aphrodite, painted after a sculpture of her head. The artist loves the red rocks of Sedona and so has placed the scene of Invocation in Sedona, Arizona, painted from one of her photographs from a recent trip. 

The idea for this painting is that of the modern day Goddess invoking the ancient wisdom of the mythological Goddesses and the wisdom of sacred earth. What is the message of this painting for you?
